For accommodation, you can privately book a room in one of the many guest houses and B&Bs. As a popular tourist destination, St Andrews offers plenty of options for all kinds of tastes and budgets. Yet we recommend booking early.

Getting to St Andrews: Local busses and taxis connect St Andrews with Leuchars railway station. ScotRail operate trains from Leuchats to Edinburgh and other destinations in Scotland. There is also a direct East Coast connection from London King’s Cross. Stagecoach offer a number of bus services from and to St Andrews. From Edinburgh Airport, take bus 747 to the Ferrytoll and change there to the X59 express coach to St Andrews. Megabus offer cheap services to many UK cities from nearby Dundee.
